Win Cavalesse products to beat summer allergies
Janssen Animal Health has introduced Cavalesse, a range of skincare products to help maintain and support healthy skin in horses prone to summer allergies, which are often caused by reactions to bites from Culicoides midges.
Cavalesse Oral is a natural food supplement that contains a unique formulation of water-soluble vitamins and minerals, including nicotinamide. Simply dissolve the sachet contents in water to form an oral solution and then sprinkle over a small handful of feed or add it to a treat. Cavalesse works by reducing histamine release, stimulating immune response and reducing anti-inflammatory reactions.
Cavalesse Topical is a skincare gel that can be applied to the irritated area to help support natural immunity from the outside, while the oral solution works from the inside.
