Reece.
While rough around the edges in its writing
craft and editing, the story makes compelling,
if alarming, reading, exposing underhand
dealings and trading practises that you’d rather
not know about, but that everyone should be
aware of.
Most shocking of all is how closely it’s based
on real events: author Reece, a Devon-based car
dealer, was imprisoned for 14 months on three
counts of fraud by deception in 2008 – unfairly,
he claims. Still protesting his innocence, Reece
wrote this book to tell his side of the story.
Whatever the truth, there’s no doubting it’s an
essential read.
